Perhaps the problem is less that it's asked that people love their jobs but more that the question is asked about jobs that it's difficult to see anyone honestly loving. Do I love my job? Sure. And I'd love any job analogous with it as well.... But I can't say that I've loved or even vaguely enjoyed all the jobs I've had, to do so would have made me a schmuck.
