If spermicides are useless why are they allowed to market them?
- stinos 12y agoMight be a similar story to https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8927403 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8927403, just for a different product. tldr; even if a drug's effect is questionable it can be put on the market or even recommended by official channels. As to the question why I can only guess, and my guess would be that money is the driving factor. Then again, I don't know anything at all about spermicides and whether they work (sometimes) or not so maybe someone with a better insight on the matter should comment on this.
- gleenn 12y agoThey aren't useless, for instance you can use them in addition to condoms to increase the effectiveness.
