A new option is a Mac Mini with 2x 500GB drives (without an internal optical drive), running OS X Server, for $999.

- borism 17y agoFair enough, but if you still want to use it as a server (btw, why?) you'll probably make RAID 1 from them, so it'll still be 500gb max.
