There is plenty of scope for moving cash purchases to card in the US. When I lived in Norway it was normal for even small purchases to be made with Chip and Pin. Many people hardly used cash at all.
- joshstrange 12y agoI already use my card for everything, I haven't used cash in quite some time (Even use Venmo to share paying for pizza and the like). I guess I'm vastly underestimating the amount of cash still being used. Because of that my original statement may be flawed
