Perhaps "cooperation brings game theory into question" would be a better title?

- HarryHirsch 12y agoYou can't upvote this enough. If the predictions of your model don't square up with reality, reality that came into being through evolution on the geological timescale, it's time that you should look at the shortcomings of your model. Perhaps it can evolve into something with actual predictive value.

- vacri 12y agoThe problem with game theory is that you already have to know the outcome in order to know whether game theory matches up with the situation.
- mcherm 12y agoWhat is in question is not game theory (math really does aspire to "absolute truth") but whether this game theoretical model applies to typical biological populations.
