if a person doesn't work and isn't ok with dying from starvation, then he necessarily becomes dependent on other people. i think it's pretty reasonable to expect people to work for their necessities. "hard work" is another matter.
- ekr 12y agoAt this point in time, the technology required for autonomously producing food has already been available for some time. At the moment, there are still a significant portion of the population employed in architecture, but by applying the technology developed for self-driving cars for e.g., that number can be reduced signficantly.
