I totally get the argument for using testosterone for sex changes.
But as a man who takes his health and fitness into his own hands, I can't help but wonder if something like testosterone would become slightly addictive. Is it something one can use to get out of a slump and then stop taking, or is it more that when one gets to a certain age, it becomes necessary for staying at desired fitness levels?
- gadders 12y agoI've never tried it, but listening to strength training/powerlifting podcasts they do say that after coming off it can be psychologically addictive as your lifts and physical capabilities drop.
- mrlase 12y agoIf you're already at normal testosterone levels and decide to take a supraphysiological dose (500 mg/wk of enanthate), you will have to go through post cycle therapy (PCT) when you're finished. PCT restarts your natural testestorone production. You'd take something like Nolvadex for four weeks with a tapering dosage.
