What is the purpose of acquiring the team if the project is not going to continue? Is the idea that the core cassandra database will add graphs as a datatype?
- craigching 12y agoI think the handwriting is on the wall: > However, there is also some sadness in this announcement. As we transition to DataStax, we will find little time to contribute to Titan and interact with the Titan community. We will miss that and hope that it will be carried forward. From that link it sounds like they're going to work on more tightly integrating inside of Cassandra. Which is a nice idea ... except that we have to wait for it.
