OT: I though OS X was based on BSD and not Linux.
- nuclear_eclipse 17y agoBSD's and Linux tend to share a decent amount of user-space applications and library code. See GCC, OpenSSH, Gnome, et al.
- aaronblohowiak 17y agoThe parent was saying that Linux is the most widely deployed Unix, and that OSX may overcome Linux as the most widely deployed Unix. This is merely a post of clarification, not support :)
