You sound like the type of insufferable bore this article is expressly written for; it's a shame you seem not to have read it. No doubt you take great pleasure in some other form of entertainment that "does nothing for anyone".
- tuelz 12y agoTalk about comparing apples to oranges. The things I enjoy that benefit no one are not things I obsess over and spend most of my waking time doing. I'm not taking large amounts of resources and gathering fanatical followers just to do some arbitrary activity in some arbitrarily better way than someone else. Do my computer games do anything for society? Nope. That's why I work a real job and contribute real value to the future. I have absolutely no problem with kids getting healthy playing sports or adults killing some free time with a fun activity. You completely misunderstand the nature of my argument if you think you've made some sort of reasonable rebuttal to my argument.
