How about we institute a down vote to prevent digg honey..err vinegar like "porn for girls by girls"
- mechanical_fish 19y agoAm I wrong in thinking that this is the first ever sighting of something like "porn for girls by girls" on the front page of news.yc? That's not the kind of thing that normally escapes my peripheral vision. But I guess I don't come here every day. I would wait for at least the third occurrence before concluding that the sky is falling. My vote is for a "Kill This Regexp" feature. You type in a regexp, like /xkcd/i or /[cC]oding\s[hH]orror/ or /[rR]on\s[pP]aul(?!\s[sS]ucks)/, and from then on any submission with a matching author or title vanishes from your view, as if it never was. Then we can tell the people who hate one or another class of submission to go buy Jeffrey Friedl's book and fix the problem for themselves.
