They're even-order, mostly 2nd harmonic.
- bwanab 12y agoIn addition, when tubes are pushed, the distortion comes on gradually and those even harmonics give a pleasant tone. This is why almost all rock guitarists use tube amplifiers despite the fact that they cost multiples over equivalent powered solid state amps.
