Been doing this ~7 years and here's an easy tip I learned from someone:
When taking a phone call stand up and walk around. Sometimes it's easy to get into a zone and not realize you've been sitting for a long period of time, if you train yourself to walk around when you're on a call it helps loosen things up.
And here's my tip:
Absolutely invest in yourself. If you're going to spend hours there, make sure you do it right. It's not just getting a nice chair, monitors, and workspace; you need to spend the time to set them up right and in a way that is healthy.
You don't have people dropping by and interrupting you for a coffee or meeting so it's easy to stay immobile. Little things can make the difference between staying healthy or (in my case) having to go to a few weeks of physical therapy because your sexy new monitors arms were positioned all wrong. Lots of ergonomic resources on the web, make sure to use them!
(This obviously applies to office workers as well but at home it's easy to think you can grab a notebook and sit weird in a couch all day for an entire week and be fine.)
