- djrogers 12y agoThe roof of a condo is often considered common area, which is excluded from the linked law. OTOH, parent can (and should) work with the HOA to get those CC&Rs changed. In the uber-green region that is the valley, it should be pretty easy to get a group of like-minded owners together to approach the board, or even get a member or two elected.
