- joss82 17y agoBut great hackers don't come cheap, if you manage to hire them at all (they want equity, plenty of it). If you can't secure the best hackers, you will loose to competition (it's them !)

Or, more important, great rather than good. Have you addressed the issues in the relevant PG essay? Another issus is finding them. As Joel Spolsky points out, they have jobs and aren't looking.
