Actually, there is already an "HNSearch" image and link in the footer of each page. It's to the right of the "Green" image. Nobody seems to notice it, maybe we should make it pink?

- gord 17y agosecond that, and maybe repeat in top bar if graphic design looks ok. I periodically google search with site:news.ycomb..

- nollidge 17y agoBut that's a link to a FF extension, not a search page.
- AndrewDucker 17y agoI installed it. And then turned it off after a minute of playing with it. If I want to find HN discussion of a particular URL then it doesn't really help - and I don't want HN links turning up every time I google for something.

EDIT: On second thought, maybe at the top would be better: Hacker Newsnew | threads | comments | leaders | jobs | submit | serach
