I ran an ed-tech firm for years (without success), so any kind of educational PR is difficult at best. I agree with homarp...Twitter is your best bet. Not to generalize, but a lot of the educational blogs are by moms and they're very picky about supporting indie material. It might be good to start your own blog and then try to promote that as well.
