I don't understand why you wouldn't want to make the best of the situation and turn a profit with the beach.
- burntsushi 12y agoOne possible explanation is that he values the privacy more than any gain he could receive from turning a profit on the beach.
- dragonwriter 12y agoIf he values privacy so highly, he probably shouldn't have bought coastal property in a jurisdiction with public access laws to which that property was subject. Basic due diligence shouldn't be a foreign concept to a VC.
- wavefunction 12y agoI understand what you mean but I hardly think that's the "best of the situation." He could have just allowed access as has been the historical case.
