I've been to Koh lanta as well, mostly at Klong Nin beach which is a bit more off than the rest of the island but nice enough. Really liked the chill vibe of the island compare to some of the other places. Don't forget to check out mong bar for their various "full moon parties" and Rasta baby bar which is really cosy reggae bar on Klong Nin. If anyone has tips on where to work and/or stay on the rest of the island I'd appreciate it, might go back and remote work some later this year
