If you want your readers to follow your advice, tell them _why_ they should, and not simply _what_ to do. See what I did there? Are readers of this piece supposed to follow the advice, like sheep, simply because they are told to? Or because they will get more usage? Or because it will make the world a better place? Or some other reason? We can only guess.
