Polemical? Is it plausible that we may not be able to reduce entities to singular values on a projected metric? Might it be “unpatriotic” to hide funding offshore that would otherwise be intended for education, medical, space exploration, food stamps, and other public endeavours[1]? [1] Well aware of the fuzziness of these issues. That is my point; reducing complex machinations down to “good” and “bad” without consideration of the macro level view within a culture is dangerous.
