Good first step, but you should research on your own. Vets can get kickbacks for pushing one and/or may not be up to date on all the latest studies and products. You'd be surprised how bad vets (and doctors) can be with drugs. (Wife a pharmd.. and they drive her nuts) Always value their professional opinion and experience, but never treat it as law
