This post reminds me of the book "Blur: How to Know What's True in the Age of Information Overload".
My take is optimistic. Charlie Munger uses mental models to handle his business decisions. Maybe we just better mental models to handle high frequency information digestion and distribution.
- rbrogan 12y agoI am optimistic as well. I have dealt with many of the problems in the article and developed my own mental tech to solve them (mostly around personal organization and self-discipline). I think it is better assume that problems do have a solution, rather than think there must be something bad which is the cause (e.g. technology itself).
