Ask HN: Internet Service Plans, upload = download?
Why do ISPs offer internet service plans that don't offer equal uploads and downloads?
- centdev 12y agoBecause it's easier to regulate knowing more people download / stream than upload. Only people in general uploading significant data are business or file sharing.
- henrycarter2000 12y agoI dont think so. More often than not, they only advertise the download speed. Upload is often slower.
