My biggest complaint with gofundme is that they don't make this blatantly obvious. It feels like they're hiding behind this veil of charitable causes and sneaking their hands into the collection plate when nobody is looking. I've talked to numerous people who have donated to gofundme campaigns and most of them didn't realize exactly how much of their donation went to the platform.
