I found it insulting, frankly. Its as though the author is suggesting some sort of connection between the events and their business decision, or that the business decision is some sort of substantive attempt to fight injustice. On the upside, at least syncthing is now free from the heavy-handed overzealous marketing these guys seem to love so much.
