Focusing on the non-technical details… case-sensitive filesystems just seems horrible for consumers! At my day job, I work with people who have barely used a computer before. I could see an 80-year old woman having three versions of a letter she typed in Pages or Word, simply because she had mixed use capital letters, and then mistakening the versions and deleting the wrong file.
