  From the FAQ [1]: "Are reposts ok? If a story has had significant attention in the last year or so, we kill reposts as duplicates. If not, a small number of reposts is ok." As with much of the HN system, that's intentionally vague, but in my interpretation, reposts can occur more frequently than once per year.
