Ask HN: How is Postgres-XL progress coming along?

Hello HN, For the past few months I've been in love with Postgres-XL[0]. It seems a wonderful solution for horizontal scaling on relational databases without involving sharding (which can get messy). However, the website is quite short on news. Although it seems awesome, I barely see anyone talking about it. The mailing list gives me some information, but I'd expect way more "buzz" for such project. Is anyone here using it in production? Or maybe testing? Thanks [0] - http://www.postgres-xl.org/
