In what way is this person the "Virginia Teacher of the Year"? The word "Virginia" never appears in the body. He was the Waynesboro (pop. 20K) Rotary Club Teacher of the Year.
- delinka 12y agoHe's a "Teacher of the Year" from Virginia. Similar to how "Florida man" is from Florida.
- rdtsc 12y agoIt is a good point, it made it seems like he was awarded a tittle by the state itself.
- doodpants 12y agoHe is a Teacher of the Year, in Virginia. I agree that the headline could have been worded more clearly.
