By contrast, "T-shaped" people are a delight to work with... Centroid of some deep domain knowledge and/or ownership of specific process/es but able to get out their comfort zone and don't really care what the title says... Get it done, make customers smile, and keep the company profitable.

- sp332 12y agoThe vertical stroke represents deep knowledge in a small area, and the horizontal stroke means they have some understanding of many other areas.
- kyllo 12y agoIt means deep knowledge/mastery of a specific skill, plus broad knowledge of many other skills. Kind of like a jack of all trades and master of one.
