Whenever I see someone dismiss the work of obviously smart people as "trash" then I just assume they are 1) arrogant and 2) usually missing the point. E.g. complaining about the capitalisation of intermediate output is just pure whining. It's not a substantial criticism at all. I'll note that the BSD ports of golang were brought up without any of this nasty complaint, even the OpenBSD one :)
