The only BIG endian systems I have left are Sparc64 OpenBSD boxes (Sun Netra T1s).

I really miss diverse archs. Things were more fun back then. Sun made outstanding hardware.
- AceJohnny2 12y ago> Sun made oustanding hardware For a time. And then Intel just marched on and everyone else collapsed under rising R&D costs and shrinking market share. Remember how IBM couldn't raise the clock speed on their PowerPC (RISC!) chips, so Apple switched to the more powerful Intel architecture?
- stonogo 12y agoThat's an ... interesting take on things. I don't think anyone was under the impression that the Intel chips were "more powerful." They were just cheaper and offered higher performance-per-watt results.
