Google should raise the bar for those who abuse the DMCA system like this. Maybe require submissions to be in writing, and notarized.
- sfeng 12y agoThere's a very specific procedure they have to follow outlined in the DMCA law.
- shakethemonkey 12y agoThat's true, but there is no legal requirement that Google accept DMCA notices electronically.
- inigoesdr 12y agoI imagine they do because it makes the process easier for them(Google) to manage. Otherwise they would need interns typing out the URLs for all of the tomes that would be coming in every day.
