Hold Hold Hold Abort :(
- jacquesm 12y agoToo bad... but a lot better than losing a rocket.
- agildehaus 12y agoThe one second launch window made any hold an abort :(
- anvandare 12y agoI agree. Unlike Kerbals, we are wary of potentially catastrophic outcomes. :) Ah well, next attempt on Friday!
- WestCoastJustin 12y agoAborted due to issue with stage two. Next launch attempt might be Jan 9th at the earliest. Via webcast for anyone who missed it.
- trothamel 12y agoThe issue was apparently drift in the actuators that positioned the second stage engine.
- AliCollins 12y agoWhere did you get this information from?
- trothamel 12y agoBoth the nasaspaceflight.com forum and the Nasa TV webcast.
- spacefight 12y ago"During the terminal count engineers observed drift on one of the two thrust vector actuators on the second stage that would likely have caused an automatic abort. Engineers called a hold in order to take a closer look. SpaceX is scrubbed for today and we are now targeting launch on Jan. 9th at 5:09am ET."
