We don't. I'm 31 and I can't remember ever using a check. Heck, I hardly keep cash around. Why should I? Checks are for electronically impaired people. Need to pay? Use a credit-card. Need to transfer money? Use internet banking. Which, by the way, these days is accessible on your cellphone. No fees (unless you are willingly using a the worst bank around) and a million times more secure than both checks and cash.
