I keep all my email, back to 1997. I only delete (automatically) old mailing list messages. Why not? From time to time I may dig up some useful information I forgot. I even at times run some scripts to get statistics from my email archive; for instance how many times did I send failed disks to Seagate? Which customer sends more support requests? etc.
