I will agree that discussing programming language design decisions in the open is something we have to work on. IRC unfortunately is not ideal but it is where most of these discussions take place. I am personally trying to encourage people to write RFCs on Github or on the Nim forum and there are some already there (https://github.com/Araq/Nim/labels/RFC https://github.com/Araq/Nim/labels/RFC).
