I'm sure these people would laugh at a discussion of how-many-angels-can-dance-on-the-head-of-a-pin, but this is just an updated-for-the-space-age version of that discussion.
- dragonwriter 12y agoI think most of them would -- while still seeing the value in considering the topic -- recognize that it is in the same category of exploration of the implications of religious doctrines through hypotheticals that seem pointless from an external context as the "how-many-angels-can-dance-on-the-head-of-a-pin" discussion.
