So NetworkManager has been using the GRUB model of what "1.0" means, then?
- vacri 12y agoEveryone who gets to touch a version number should have a read of http://semver.org/ http://semver.org/ first. And for this particular case, the FAQ question "How do I know when to release 1.0.0?" is particularly appropriate. My favourite one to watch was the roguelike ADoM, which went through 0.1 - 0.9, then 0.91 - 0.99, then .99alpha - .99gamma, then got up to .99gamma16 before it finally hit 1.0.
