- relaytheurgency 12y agoThe medicine isn't supposed to improve your recovery time, it's supposed to lessen the ill effects of having the cold. Your comment doesn't make sense in that context at all. "It takes about 1 week to get over a cold if you don't take medicine. It still takes 1 week to get over a cold with medicine, but you'll feel much less hindered by the effects of the cold itself."
