Most of the inconsistent naming and unicode handling was fixed in Python 3.
- proveanegative 12y agoFair point about the naming but on Unicode handling I'll have to disagree with you. The problems of the kind described in http://lucumr.pocoo.org/2014/1/5/unicode-in-2-and-3/ http://lucumr.pocoo.org/2014/1/5/unicode-in-2-and-3/ are not difficult to run into.
