The Google Maps app for Blackberry had this "fun" feature where it uninstalled an open source product Mobile GMaps every time you ran Google Maps. Google ignored all attempts to communicate with them about this. I interviewed at Google years ago when I was a Blackberry user and had been very annoyed at this "evil" functionality. The response of people there was eye opening, largely amounting to: "That is evil, Google does no evil, therefore that doesn't happen."
