I am old, and have poor eyesight. I also work very hard as I am self-employed, and don't get a whole lot of sleep.
Blurred backgrounds drive me absolutely bananas. They also cause me severe eyestrain.
I'd like to find some way to disable them in Mac OS X. For example I can see my desktop through my menubar.
- MichaelCrawford 12y agoAh... I just found the way to disable the translucent OS X menu bar. System Preferences -> Desktop & Screensaver -> Desktop -> uncheck "Translucent Menu Bar". Please don't use blurred backgrounds, with CSS or otherwise.
