It sounds more to me like a direct projection to retina. Has this ever been attempted ? Would that be working with lasers ?

    Manufacturers and commercial uses ... Consumer versions are expected to ship fall of 2015 It would be interesting if this was progressing because some major patent roadblocks where about to expire.
