I was considering Go for some project of mine but the lack of generics turned me away because the project needed to do some heavy numeric computations over custom containers (sparse matrices). Now days I think that adding generics to Go will be disaster - Go lacks sound type system and piling generics on top of it will make the thinks even worse.
