Is it fair to say, if he had had internet, television, cinemas and tons of friends around, he would never have achieved that?
I see our kids every day staring at various screens, being miles away from any creative impulse and getting really mad, if we discuss (or execute) internet access limits.
- orangecomputer 12y agoIt's very hard to say. Right before leaving for the country, circa 1997-1998, my best friend was trying to get me into C++, as he was a games dev / games fanatic like I was. I had always wanted to get my hands into C++ and start working with it. It never really transpired sadly as I had no idea where to start.
