A few things. First, seeking profit doesn't mean its the motivator. Second, my meaning was that profit as the primary motivator seems to have a degrading effect on the quality of the art. By "best" I meant "best art" not "greatest quantity of art."
You can argue DRM all you want, I'm saying it's not relevant to everyone who cares about music.
