The presentation claims that it takes 4 hours to travel from Paris to Amsterdam by car. Well, the distance is 750 km so you need a pretty fast car for that and a big wallet to pay for the speeding tickets ..
- boracay 12y agoIt's presumably by train since the estimates are written on train tracks.
- majestic1211 12y agoThe presentation does not specify by car. It does take pretty much 4h by train.
- fab13n 12y agoIn Europe, car is rarely the best way to move around. Thalys high-speed trains get you from Paris to Amsterdam in 3h; add another hour to move to/from the train stations, and here are your 4 hours.
- fermigier 12y agoThe distance is actually 500 km, not 750 (https://www.google.fr/maps/dir/Paris/Amsterdam,+Pays-Bas/@50.5929606,1.35724,7z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x47e66e1f06e2b70f:0x40b82c3688c9460!2m2!1d2.3522219!2d48.856614!1m5!1m1!1s0x47c63fb5949a7755:0x6600fd4cb7c0af8d!2m2!1d4.8951679!2d52.3702157?hl=fr https://www.google.fr/maps/dir/Paris/Amsterdam,+Pays-Bas/@50...). And yes, the 4h figure is for travelling by train, not by car.
