- danieltillett 12y agoA PhD is more than x numbers of years of research. If it wasn't we would not have them at all. It is supposed to change who you are and how you approach the world. It certainly did for me. It is actually this part that made doing a PhD worthwhile as the domain knowledge I gained has long since become worthless.
